Our Story
"Natasha Green, now Natasha Smith, founded pureLOVE Home Care Agency in December 2016, after a deeply personal experience. Her beloved grandmother, who was frail, lived in an old age home in Johannesburg. Natasha made a heartfelt promise to bring her grandmother to Cape Town, with the hope of offering the care and support she needed. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, Natasha was unable to fulfill that promise, and 2 years later, her grandmother passed away.
The weight of that unkept promise stayed with Natasha, leaving her with a deep ache in her heart. From that moment, she made a vow to herself: "moving forward, she would dedicate her life to helping families in need, offering the same love, compassion, and care she had hoped to give her grandmother". Driven by the realization of a growing demand for compassionate, home-based care, Natasha committed herself to providing the elderly with the kind of support they deserve and need.
pureLOVE Home Care Agency was born from this heartfelt mission, a commitment to ensuring that no one else would have to experience the pain of an unfulfilled promise to their loved ones."

The agency's goal is to allow clients to remain in the comfort of their own homes while receiving the care and help they need.

"I have known Natasha Green since 2018 when she began taking care of mother, who had Dementia. I could not recommend her more highly. Considering a Caregiver for an aging aren't is a difficult thing. In my case the physical and time distance brought by living in New York compounded my worries. Whoever came on board would be responsible for co-ordinating daily household maintenance and have access to credit cards and other personal information. It was crucial that whoever I retained - apart from being compassionate, patient and professional- is also 100% reliable, trustworthy, proactive and an effective communicator. Natasha is all of this and more. Natasha had been visiting my mom at home several times a week, taking her out shopping, to various medical and personal appointments, and to social activities. When Covid began over night, the career team who were part of the retirement complex where my mom lived and who checked in on her a couple of times a day was suddenly unavailable. Unable to travel, I was quite literally stuck and facing the terrifying prospect of my mom being alone as lockdown began. In this extreme circumstance and act of generosity that went beyond what I could have imagined, Natasha offered to move in, and she and her young daughter stayed with my mom for the duration of the lockdown. I don't know what we would have done otherwise. It was during this period that my moms Dementia deepened causing her to not believe the seriousness of the virus creating situations that were frequently very difficult to manage and potentially posed a health risk. Natasha handled every situation beautifully and calmly. I am deeply grateful to her for maintaining a safe environment of support and care for my mom who, prior to her illness, was very independent, liked doing things her own way and 'having her space'. Natasha's Bright and positive energy created a nurturing environment, and during those challenging months, I knew I had a reliable partner in her.
Natasha and my mom developed a strong bond over the years that enriched my moms life. This is another 'intangible' that one might hope for in a relationship with a caregiver but cannot expect or count on .I know my mom felt seen and safe with Natasha. We went through several heath emergencies over the years and their bond was critical in those times with immediate family overseas.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Natasha to you. Her sensitivity and commitment would make her an invaluable and integral part of your family support system.
